Legend of the Thailand Audio and Recording Industry

Just in case you don't speak Thai see English translation below.

Profile of Wutti Lanrungroj hopefully coming next month.

The 2026 Chinese New Year, starting Feb. 17, 2026, marks the Year of the Fire Horse, symbolizing a high-energy, fast-paced, and transformative year. The Horse represents freedom, intelligence, and ambition, while the Fire element adds passion and intensity. It encourages independent action, bold decisions, and rapid progress, though it may bring impulsiveness and volatility. --National Geographic

Otis Taylor and the Electrics

Recorded live at Octave Records

By Alan Hyman, Editor
I have bought many downloads from P.S. Audio's Octave Records and have enjoyed most of them. This one I was not sure about but took a chance anyway because it is unlike anything that I have. At first I was not crazy about the musical style but it has been steadily growing on me.

The true grit nature of Otis Taylor's story telling, guitar, banjo, and harmonica playing is very emotional. Blues with a touch of Appalachia is how I would describe his style overall.

Sound quality of the DSD 128 I selected is very good. You can read more about this recording and Otis Taylor and the Electrics HERE.
